How To Untwist A Colon

Malaysia part 2: Christmas in the mountains

on to the Cameron Highlands for a quiet, idyllic Christmas in a cozy cottage with great views. Ha think! Rooms with drawn in the corridor walls, no windows, sterile, white, empty hostel - it seemed ('s consolation was our first Milka) . The owner seemed quite friendly, hard working and caring and with great imagination saw the lounge (with big windows) also completely comfortable. You do not see only the "mountains", but skyscrapers, Starbucks and other fast food chains, Souvenirstaende and tourists everywhere.

The weather was suitable for Christmas rather bad, rainy and cool. Just the thing for us for the booming Kuala Lumpur.

On 24 We have made a 4.5 stuendige TEATOUR, it included was a trip to a "traditional" Aboriginesdorf. "Traditionally," but there's not really in Malaysia and none of us wanted to take pictures (looked like before everything as usual). For this has - to match the arrival of tourist buses (mah, as I just really hate) - half the market town gathered with their motorcycles and made pictures of us. So embarrassing.

The Teetour itself was very interesting and very beautiful landscape.

From the summit of the highest mountain's gave up on a cloud / fog to be seen. The Asians see themselves but as a reason for shooting. But has been good for me again what the guide had to say about the different plants.

The afternoon we spent cozy with tea and Kekserln the evening we were eating beautiful and I even had the same sweater on as 1 year for Christmas in New York .

then are we to Daniel's Jungle Bar, where with backpackers at the fire! (Christmas) sat. And it was even "so cold" that I could put on my jacket (about 16 degrees). Precisely at midnight, we had to be in the hostel (lock). could

The next day the weather was so bad to go that we can not walk and had spent the whole day with books and the internet. What has actually done very well, I would have not waited in vain for a response from Russ. Not even a Christmas greeting, had to tear myself together very ...

Cornelia got to know someone who took us to Penang. Free! What was really nice, but the lower case we did not 'read' very slow speed, the doors we have always had to beat too loud, we were allowed during the 6-hour Drink driving and not really eat (but who bear it?), The feet (without shoes) could not rauftun Cornelia well (she is quite large and had very little space). Was re ne fun experience. It is said about the Malay: stroke his face and he laughs, do something with the car and he is really evil.
